A couple of our members have spent many hours and their own money to create and donate a learning resource to the Catherine S Rood Central Library in Cocoa. It is a set of 36 projects all having to do with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and electronics. Each project is a fun, standalone, step by step way to learn hands on and make neat things from robots, toys, video games, bluetooth enabled garage door openers, etc. We’ll be at the library on Saturday, March 3 from 10 am until 3 pm helping anyone that comes in with each of the projects. The projects will be at the library forever for anyone of any age to come in and learn programming, robotics, circuits, and others at their own pace. Come out on March 3 and help us celebrate the Raspberry Pi’s birthday at the Raspberry Jam!

Here’s a recap of this event in photos. We had many people of all ages come out and see our examples of things you can do with a Raspberry Pi. We left our 36 projects learning resource there at the library for anyone to use and learn about electronics, robotics, and programming. Here’s a few photos we took while we weren’t busy helping everyone with the fun, hands on learning stations.
