We are planning this year’s Makerspace Grand Open House for Saturday, March 16 from 12:30-4pm.
Here’s what we’re planning to have:
- Welcome / Information tables
- Representatives on hand in each area to answer questions, give demos if possible, display examples of maker creations
- Slide show of pictures of Makerspace creations and open houses from the past year.
- Send any pictures you have to events@melbournemakerspace.org
- Maker Made area 6 tables for members to sell items they’ve made. RSVP to events@melbournemakerspace.org to sign-up for a 1/2 or full table space.
To pull this all off, we’re looking for volunteers to help with:
- Clean-up / setup of the whole Makerspace on Saturday, March 9 from 12-2pm Staffing the welcome tables Staffing each area
- 3D Printing
- Arts & Crafts
- Electronics
- Laser Cutting
- Metal Shop
- Pottery
- Programming
- Wood Shop
- Maker made items for display and to sell
