Here is a segmented vessel by Paul Jackson. It has 48 segments per ring made of Yellowheart, Cocobolo, Bloodwood, and Anigre. It has a floating base, Yellowheart in a ring of Cocobolo. 30 rings above. It consists of a total of 1,440 individual pieces of wood.
