We can always use more people helping at the Open Houses.
You don’t have to be an expert, just willing to give tours and pass along what knowledge you have. We have specific needs in Arts and Crafts, Sewing, and Metalworking.
There are any number of small jobs that need doing on a weekly or monthly basis.
They aren’t anything glamorous — emptying the trash, vacuuming, changing the air filters, etc. — but they need to get done. Let us know what you are interested in doing and we’ll get you on the schedule.
You can host an event.
Do you have information that you want to share? It can be a demonstration, a workshop, a lecture, or even a class. I can be part of an existing Open House, or its own thing. It can be a one-time event, a series over a few weeks, or a recurring event. Drop us a note at events@melbournemakerspace.org and we can figure out the scheduling.
