Teaching Technology @ scout camp

Our Makerspace was invited to teach technology at a scout day camp.  Tony Bellomo and Gene Wade set up shop at Wickham park and hosted ~300 boy and girl scouts to teach them about 3d printing, CNC Routing, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and programming with scratch.  We had a lot of fun and the scouts loved seeing the nifty toys we use at the Makerspace.

We have been invited to meet with the scout council to discuss other ways that we could get involved.  We also made some great contacts with local school teachers and potential new members.
