SCARS is an Amateur Radio (Ham) Club focused on Emergency / Auxiliary Communications and Public Service. Our monthly membership meetings have training on subjects relevant to both our primary mission and to the general education and training of anyone interested in Amateur Radio. We welcome both currently licensed and non-licensed individuals to membership. In addition to our monthly membership meetings, we have on the air nets to practice communication and test operation of equipment and monthly practical hands-on training / practice or operating in support of public service events (e.g. races, parades, craft, air and car shows, etc.).
