Everything you have always wanted to know about NeoPixels and RS485.
NeoPixels are the devices we use in strips to create moving text signs. They are easy to control using an Arduino. However the Arduino must be connected directly to the NeoPixel strip. This class will show you how to use RS485 to separate them by up to 1000 meters.
We will use the Arduino software development environment, oscilloscope, soldering, wire twisting.
Hands on kits will be available for anyone who wants to build a unit.
