The Project Assembly Room is a great place to work on projects that take several days to complete. You can leave your project set up in the room overnight or for several days without having to break it down. This allows you to continue working on your project without interruption and keeps it out of the way of the woodworking machinery.
However, the Project Assembly Room is not a storage area. If you start a project and then don’t work on it for more than a day, your project may be broken down and removed. To avoid this, please plan your project schedule so that you have enough time to complete it in a week or so.
The Project Assembly Room is a good place to work on the following types of projects:
- Tabletop prep glue up and assembly
- Epoxy projects that require several days to cure
- Carving
- Glue ups
- Staining
- Finishing with wipe on finishes (no spray finishing)
There are four workbenches built on lockable casters and sized such that they can be arranged to make a work surface that fits your needs.
If you have a project that you think would be a good fit for the Project Assembly Room, please feel free to use it. Just be sure to plan your project schedule accordingly and let us know if you need to leave your project set up for more than a day.
