Scratch is a fun way to get started with computer programming. Children as young as 8 (or adults! ) can quickly learn to play sounds, draw pictures, and make interactive games, while learning basic concepts such as loops that give a good foundation for future learning. Scratch is a great way to help your kids develop skills and interest in programming, and have fun doing it! For more info see http://scratch.mit.edu/ Ages 8+ (A parent / guardian must remain in the classroom during the workshop).
Please RSVP at Meetup.com so we know how many people to expect.
