Today, we held our second course on the Basic Breadboard Electronics classes. Today’s session we discussed component identification. There are 2 parts to this course. Part 1 and Part 2. We apologize for the delay of the classes by a week. The parts that Jaycon Systems ordered were held up in customs last week and we were unable to hold the class. This week, we covered the different types of components used in electronics. A few that were discussed were resistors, capacitors, relays, diodes, and transistors. As far as projects, today was a very hands on class. Using a pencil to make a mark on a piece of paper to make a graphite resistor, using aluminum tape to create a capacitor, and making an alternating current circuit with a relay to light a neon bulb.
Remember that all these classes build upon each other and you will need to bring the items from the past classes to each and every class to complete the projects that we plan on doing.
On to the pictures!
